As a part of the Alpine City water management program, residences and businesses will have meters installed on the pressurized irrigation usage.
Meter installations are being completed in three phases over the course of two years, completing in 2019. Phases 1 and 2 were completed in 2018, and Phase 3 is currently progress.
During the installation process, residents can expect to receive an at-home notification 7-10 days prior to the work beginning. Residents will also be asked to complete any outside watering at least 24 hours prior to meter installation. To serve as a helpful reminder, crews will leave a second notification at businesses and residences, giving notice that installations will begin in 48 hours. A final notification will be given once the meter installation is complete at each location.
Culinary water service will not be disrupted as a part of this project, but pressurized irrigation service may be down for up to 48 hours.
